Committee Members: Stuart Morris (Secretary), Sally Cousins (Treasurer), Jayne Griffiths, Glenys Deer, Ceris Jones (Representatives)

The policy and general management of the affairs of the Community Organisation are managed by a General Management Committee which is responsible to the General Meeting of the Association. The General Committee consists of a chairperson, secretary, treasurer, bookings secretary and representatives of groups which use the Community Hall. The officers are elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held in October every year for a period of one year. Similarly, members of the Management Committee are elected at the AGM for a period of one year but other members may be co-opted by the committee at any time and serve until the next AGM. The General Committee meets monthly (except for August and December) throughout the year but special meetings may be called at any time. Any inhabitants of the area may attend meetings, speak but not vote.

The objectives of the Association shall be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Llanmorlais, Crofty, Penuel and Wernffrwdd areas without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the area of benefit and surrounding areas.

The hall is used by a variety of groups including: Share A Skill, Friendship Group, Zumba, Keep Fit, Bowls, Badminton, Line Dancing, Estuary Players, Yoga, Karate, Foot Clinics and Football. The hall is also used by fund raising groups for fetes, concerts, charity concerts as well as private parties etc. It is also used as the polling station.

The Association is entirely voluntary being funded by hall hiring fees, the proceeds of the annual village carnival and an annual discretionary grant from Llanrhidian Higher Community Council, (this grant could cease or reduce at any point).

The hall was built through the hard work and dedication of the local community and has been maintained by the community ever since. We are proud of our achievements in providing and caring for this facility for our residents and friends.
