**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION, APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ARTS, PARTICULARLY BY THE FORMULATION, PREPARATION, ESTABLISHMENT AD PRODUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL PLAYS, FESITVALS AND PRODUCTIONS. **Activities:** Litfest develops writers, engages readers and audiences, and celebrates literary excellence. We do this through our annual festival and a range of other publishing, development and participatory projects that have positioned the organisation at the heart of Lancashire's cultural and creative activity.
