**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE BLIND, OR THE PARTIALLY SIGHTED, OR OTHERWISE READING-DISABLED PEOPLE BY THE PROVISION OF RECORDED MEDIA, AND ASSOCIATED PLAY BACK EQUIPMENT ON LOAN WHERE NECESSARY. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 2 OF CONSTITUTION).

**Activities:** The provision of a free service whereby blind, partially-sighted or otherwise reading-disabled residents of the whole of the City of Salford can listen to a local news recording each week on memory stick.  A free monthly magazine recording is also sent out once a month.  Play-back speakers are loaned free to any listener who needs one.
