**Objects:** (I) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA COMPRISING LEEK, LEEKFRITH, HEATON, RUSHTON, HORTON, LONGSDON, ENDON, WITH STANLEY, BAGNALL, CHEDDLETON, CONSALL IPSTONES, BRADNOP, ONECOTE, AND TITTESWORTH (II) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN OR AFFECTING THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (III) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** We maintain a watching brief on planning applications making representations as required. We encourage civic pride activities such as guided walking tours of key heritage venues. Regularly monitor the condition of street furniture.
