Several years ago dacided in prinaple to convert frorn an unincorporated association into a Charqtable Incorporated
Organisation. At that time only 8 newly-fomed tharity could become a CIO. but now It Is open to existin9 charities to do
so. Vve have engaged Solicitors to draft a new constitution and maka th& ne￿$s8ry applicatK)n to the charity
comrnission for ra9istration. We antiC4pate this being eon¢luded shortty.
On rengwal of our insurance for the Centre in June 2017. the Insurers insisted on the inclusion of a condition about thè
operalion of the ¢limbing wall that w8 would not havg begn ¥bl¢ lo fulfil. Corwuenuy, dimbing wall ram8ins out of
action.
Bow Bell Cottage, 8n 8ttractrve ston8-built house in Knock village, was bought in 2009 as a hom8 for the wardens. We
knèw at thè timè of purchase the propety would need some improvem•nt. a5 w811 as ong0￿g maintenan￿. In autumn
2017 tt was given a new rool, and further improvements continua to bg made.
The Centre continue5 to be highly ￿garded and is in good demand a8 shown by the number of bookings, and the
complimentary comments made by those who usè it. Many groups report Ih8t their visits have b8en time5 of spiritual
blessing and refreshment, and this is a grgat enwuragement lo the Trustees and Wardens.
