## **Stopfordian Parents Association** **Treasurers Report Academic Year 2022 - 2023** ## **Overview** The deficit for the year was **£7368** , however the closing balance was **£27,729** . The SPA has been running a large surplus for the last couple of years and the Funding Committee have made large donations to the school this year to utilise some of this surplus. The aim of raising funds it to benefit the pupils and they don’t benefit from money in the SPA bank accounts. The accounts are prepared on a cash accounting basis so match the movements on the bank statements between September 2022 and September 2023.
