Wyre Forest Talking Newspaper provides weekly audio tapes of extracts from local newspapers in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire (Kidderminster, Stourport,Bewdley). This service is for blind and visually impaired people of the area. It is also for people for whom handling a traditional newspaper is difficult/impossible by reason of some other disability. The service is provided by volunteers

Objects: To Relieve The Blind Or Partially Blind Or Those Labouring Under Some Temporary Or Permanent Incapacity Or Disability Which Makes Reading A Strain By Provision Of Recorded Tapes And Cassette Tape Recorders On Loan Or Ohterwise As May Be Determined By The Committee If Sufficient Fnds Are Availabel For The Purchase By The Association After The Needs Of Producing The Recorded Tapes Have Been Met.
