**Objects:** TO HELP THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED, TOGETHER WITH THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO READ FOR OTHER REASONS AND DISABILITIES, WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, SEX, RACE, POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TO PROTECT HEALTH AND RELIEVE POVERTY, DISTRESS OR SICKNESS AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR INHABITANTS

**Activities:** We provide a fortnightly  memory stick to the blind & partially sighted people in Mid-Staffordshire. This is a totally free service. We also provide the equipment into which the memory sticks are inserted. The memory stick consists of news, magazine items & information useful to the visually impaired.

**Area of benefit:** THE SHIRE COUNTY OF STAFFORDSHIRE AND ANY OTHER COUNTY WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM
