ACHIEVEMENTSAND PERFORMANCE In 2024, SWDA delivered workshop learningsupportto a record number of students with an average of 44 students attending weekly. Demand for services remains high and 8 waiting list has been created for families wantingto use of seniices. Page 4

THE SOUTH WARWICKSHIRE DYSLEXIAASSOCIATION YEAR ENDED 31"DECEMBER2024 The main issue faced is access to quality teachers especially for Mathematics Key Stage 3. Capacity of classrooms is also a limiting factor to how many students we can have attending weekly. Provision of seNices during 2024 has improved as we were able to purchase 6 laptops which the students use weekly, in addition, we have been able to purchase access to a variety of online learning resources which has been positively received. This is largely the result of a grant received from the British Dyslexia Association. Income for the year was also boosted by the first Gift Aid Claim of £5,774. FINANCIAL REVIEW Our main source of income continues to be donations made in respect of the learning workshops. As a result of the increased activity. total income for the year was £31,728 compared against £22,411 last year. In line with the increase in income, costs have also increased to £28,461 compared against £18,652 lastyear. The increase in costs is mainly as a result of the increase in teachers costs from £15,768 last year to £20,925 this year. The Charity made a net surplus for the year of £3,267 compared against a surplus last year of £3,759. The Charity has cash balances carried forward of £38,264 (2023- £34,997). Reserves Policy The trustees, policy is to maintain reserves at around 12 months of normal running costs in orderto meet commitments and to cover any unexpected expenditure. Reserves atthe end of the year were £38,264, which is within the target range. Plans for Future Periods The trustees intend to continue and develop the services thatthe Charity provides forthe benefit of the children in the community- Approved by order of the board of trustees on the 27" September 2025 and signed on its behalf by: Donna Venables (Dec 5. 2025. 6'06pml Ms D Venables- Trustee Page 5
