Pastor's Report Jan 2023 - Jan 2024 In the last year we have met every w￿k for a Sunday service, with a children's church. Once a month we have a Café Church, which is an informal family service seated at tsbles with food available. This is geared for children and is very relaxed and perfect for people to bring friends who wouldn t normally go to church. We now have some more people who attend church. We have also developed our pa team, bought new equipment, and developed our worship team. We continued with our weekly Sunday lunch group called 'Lunch Group, until September of this year. This was an ideal group for people in church who are alone, for those who are lonely and to invite people from the local community. We have this stopped this group tem￿rarIlY, due to lack of volUnt￿rs. We continue our three W￿klY LIFE Groups. In the w￿k there is also a prayer meeting and worship prattice. As a church we have employed a part time families and children's worker for the last two and a half years, to visit some of the local primary schools to lead acts of worship and help with lessons. She leads two After School Clubs, supported by a great team, in two of the local primary schools. she has also liaised with local community groups helping with their focKI share clubs. She is due to finish after Christmas and we hope to take on a volunteer for a year, from a national organisation. We continue to develop our church leadership team, and one of the leaders has attended a leadership training programme. We continue to m￿t once a month and liaise regularly throughout the W￿k. We have recently attended the Ground Level National Leaders Conference in Swanwick. We also have five trUSt￿S and have done a lot of work to ensure that we are acting very professionally and efficiently as a charity. Our Governance leader and trust￿ ensures that we comply strittly to all the legal stipulations and our safeguarding leader ensures that we comply with all the safeguarding stsndards.

We have continued to support an event called Str￿t Church by attending each W￿k, and with financial support and donations of food to people who are struggling financially in a local estate. And we have our own food bank which we have also used to help local people who are struggling. We will also be working in partnership with a local families and children's organisation this year to provide bags of food and presents for 16 local families. We will again be sending Boxes of essential items to children around the world through a missionary organisation. As a leadership team we rn￿t with other church leaders regularly. We have joined in with other churches to put on events for the benefit of local people. One large event we held in July was our'church Festival,, at Berry Hill Park, with a joint worship band, a national gospel illusionist, and a national speaker. We had a lot of people attend. There was also the Easter Churches Together witness which we took part in. We have also organised various events as a church as well as our normal activities, such as , Passover Meal Harvest Sunday Praise, Prayer and Prophecy Event Mens and Ladies events A church discipleship course A gospel illusions training event A baptism service An Easter event, giving Easter eggs away outside a local supermarket Later this year we will also be organising a Church Pub Quiz, a Church Christmas Meal, carol singing and giving away chocolates outside a local supermarket, a Remembrance servi￿, a nativity *rvice and other church events.

We now have a new website. We continue to support other charities regularly and tithe as a church to many different Christian organisations such as Open Doors, Tear Fund, Youth for Christ, Ground Level. One of our leaders is a volunteer with Prison Ministries, so we support her.
