## Activities

**Objects:** (I) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENFIT. (II) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN OR AFFECTING THE AREA OF BENEFIT (III) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMET AND INPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT

**Activities:** Seeks to enhance and preserve the history and surroundings of the township of Rainhill. Monitors  planning applications.  Also organises an annual gardening competition,  and holds a programme of meetings throughout the winter season, open to all. New activities include an oral history project with sound recordings made by local people .Community-wide commemoration of local involvement in WW1
