Activities:

The charity carries out a wide range of activities in pursuance of its charitable aims. The trustees consider that these activities, summarised below, provide benefit both to those who worship at our Mosque and the wider community.

Prayers:

The mosque is open all day for daily and Friday prayers. A good number of people attended the daily and Friday prayers during the period.

The Mosque organise special prayer and occassionally serves 'Iftar' to break the fast during the month of Ramadan. Generally more people attend these services during this month. The Mosque also arrange special prayer on Eid day and a large number of people attend this special prayer.

Report of the Independent Examiner to the trustees of

Loughborough Mosque & Islamic Cultural Association

Charity Registration Number: 508706

85 King Street Loughborough LE11 1SB

On accounts for the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 set out on 9 pages

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for above period under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to:

My examination was carried out in accordance with general directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair' view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:

2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
