March 2022
Annual Report 2020
I would like to take this opportunity to Thank all of the Staff and Volunteers for all their work and support over the past 12 months.
We have just seen what has been an unprecedented year for everyone and what has been totally unforeseen for all. Due to Covid-19 we had to shut the Centre to all users and furlough all staff.
Bowburn and ParkHills Covid-19 group was set up at the Centre with Volunteers from the area, and the Centre was used as a base for the Food Parcel and Hot Meal centre, all of this was only possible with the help and support from local residents and AAP local funding, also donations from the community as well as local Business.
The Centre has also been used as a Vaccination Hub by the NHS which has helped us going forward, however we have had to make 2 members of staff redundant and cut the remaining staffs hours.
The new proposed sound system and screens has now been delayed until 2021, and the replacement of the paths has also been put back.
Once again Thanks to all involved who help to keep the Association up and running, and we hope to move into better times in 2021.
