Trustees are selected at the Annual General Meeting. each club within the
Federation nominates two members to become trustees of the Federation
and vote at Executive Committee meetings and the AGM. In addition, the
County Chairman, Vice Chairman, Events and Marketing committee chair,
Competitions Committee chair, Management committee chair, President
and 6 co-opted advisors, all elected or confirmed at the AGM, are also
trustees.

carried out prior to commencement of employment or trusteeship and
checks carried out again in line with statutory requlrements.
All trustees give their time voluntarily and receive no remuneration or other
benefits as a result of their trusteeship.

There is a previously approved and declared familial relationship between
one trustee and the sole paid member of staff. However, there are
procedural checks and approvals in place to ensure that there can be no
conflict of interest.
The organisation is in final stages of transferring its activities to a CIO in
with the same name and objects (with Charity Number 1176227) and is
awaiting transfer of the bank accounts for this to take place.

Ob"ectives and activities
To advance the education and personal development of young members
of the public at large in agriculture, rural life and affairs, international
understanding, home crafts, the environment and related subjects.
In the interests of the social welfare of such members, to provide and
promote the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time
occupations, being facilities, which will improve their spiritual and mental
capacities, health and well-being, raise awareness, self-reliance and
individual responsibility so that they may develop as individuals into full
citizens.
