Financial Review
Review of the charity's
financial wsilion at the end
of the peric*J
With rising running costs, predictabty gas
and electric, and a sign[f￿nI increase in
our deaning costs, the last year has seen
our income fail to match our expenditure.
for the first time in some years. We have
reserves. which we are careful not to rely
on: it would only take one major problem,
th the roof or the fl￿ing. for example. to
use a huge arn¢JJnt of our reserves. We
reviewed our hiring rates a year ago. and
have recenuy done so again and have
decKled lo raise them.
We ty and keep reserves at thelr current
level as we a￿ aware one major repair
easity require r￿$1 of the reserves
we have.
