**Objects:** THE FURTHERANCE OF THE EDUCATIONAL POLICY OF THE FACULTY OF LAW IN THE UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM, AND IN PARTICULAR, BY PROMOTING INTERCOURSE BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT STUDENTS WHO ARE STILL STUDYING IT FROM ITS THEORETICAL AND ACADEMIC ASPECT, AND BY LECTURES OR LEGAL TOPICS OUTSIDE OF THE FORMAL CURRICULUM OF THE COURSE, THE READING AND DISCUSSION OF PAPERS, DEBATES ON LEGAL AND OTHER TOPICS, AND SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME APPEAR PRACTICABLE.

**Activities:** The principal objects of the charity are to further the educational aims of the Law School and the professional aims of all students interested in a legal vocation and to promote communication with the legal profession including the judiciary, the Bar and practising solicitors in order to widen the students' knowledge and experience with regard to career opportunities and prospects.
