1st Clifton (St Anne’s) Scout Group Trustee Report 2020/21
The Scout Movement exists to help ensure that its membership of young people are prepared and helped to enter adult life with the skills necessary to succeed, be happy and live fulfilling lives. Sadly during this financial period no Scout meetings, functions or events were able to take place due to the pandemic.
The main focus of the trustees and volunteers was keeping in touch with members and ensuring Scout property was serviced and maintained in an appropriate manner.
The main stream of income during this period was from Central Government grants paid to Business Rate payers via the Local Authority, which resulted in unusual income excess for the year. Plans are currently being put in place by the trustees to ensure this excess income is used wisely and properly, in the direct interests of the membership.
