effect on costs and without su¢h we woukj Th)t be able lo operate and to support charitable causes.

Achieyernents and performance
The Sociely's primary fvJnciK)n is to organise Ihe ann￿ Nantr￿ch Shtrrt on the last Wednesday of July each year. In
2022 a hugely successful'come-back- Show was held folh)wing a Ihree year break tjue to weather120191 and Govid12D
and 21}. The new venue of Reaseheaih College in Nants¥tch was a success in Ihe first year120221 arid this year120231
the event Gontinued on Ihe same site %%ith very lithe amendments to the previous year.
The 2023 event saw some heavy land pred￿ed rainl in Ihe aftemoon so Ircket Sales were slightly d￿￿n on prèvious
year. howeve( the vast majority of visitors We￿ in by 1 Kxn so moming oflhe s￿)W was notwbly L*Jsier than last year.
A large proportion of Tiaders ienewed in 2023. many o[wh￿h requested the sarne pilch a5 they had done so well. Trade
stsnds ale oig8nised into six caiw)ries.' Agricutture. Lilestyle. klotor. ProlessK)ftal se￿￿es. F(iod & Drink and
Comrnunily. In lotal. over 250 trader5 were %ted on field.
As this was the second ye81 of the St￿. ￿ were able to more confrflenlly assess the spacp available lor INestock,
vintage machinery and ad¢JIti¢￿aI attractKJrts eg thiklren's ath¥it￿s and (zterirvJ 1X)n￿$s￿)nS.

eX￿sS of 1,500 hours be￿een them. This year, the Show m￿ager continued to volunteer her time and the Shrny

income and expenditu￿ for the year together with the rese￿eS al the begiming and end of Ihe year.
The ExecutÉve Diredors are very happy with the sh￿ Day profft of £46,(KXJ and accept that the £11,000 assets write-off
is necessary housekeeping ahead of ihe new financial year. Many of these assets were associated with the Cheese
Awards and the old Showground infrastiuduie and therefore ar¢ no IDnger aVajLBb￿ to U5.
The Show Management have ersured Ihal marketing. attraclKbns and operation have bèen kept to a minimum
al)wing us to maximise on profft.

The directors propose to make transfer the year to the Designated Fund which is allocated ft)r dislriiKrtion lo
