Activities
Byrness village hall provides recreation facilities for people in the area. There are weekly craft groups of card making and patchwork/quilting.Throughout the year there are social events for both children and adults eg halloween party, new years eve.The hall is also available for hire by private groups and is used by the parish council, whist groups , church groups etc.
Objects: (1) The Provision And Maintenance Of A Village Hall For The Use By The Inhabitants Of The Parish Of Rochester Without Distinction Of Political, Religious, Or Other Opinions, Including Use For Meetings, Lectures And Classes, And For Other Forms Of Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation, With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.(2) The Land Identified In The Schedule To This Scheme Must Be Retained By The Committee For Use For The Object Of The Charity.
