The League of Friends continues to fund equipment to the Community Hospital and the Community. As noted in the Treasurer’s Report the League has provided Defibrillators to the Community, Blinds and Signage to Brampton Hospital, Medical Equipment to the local medical practice, Brampton Medical Practice, and for children’s health activities during the summer holidays.
As always Income comes from donations due to the kindness of former patients or patients’ relatives. This year 21/22 the income increased dramatically due to a generous Legacy of £ 136,613.84
The League of Friends holds 3 regular meetings a year, and this year there were 2 extraordinary meetings. The Assessment of Needs Committee meets several times a year when required.
This year the Chairman, Mr. J Holland retired. The Vice Chairman, Mr. D Moorat is now acting as Chairman.
