## **Minutes of Annual General Meeting held on 23rd, June 2021 at 7.0pm in the Hospital** 

**1. Welcome** by J. Holland to H. Holland, D. Moorat, J. Burn, J. Kenworthy, S. Quinn, K. Percival, J. Williamson, and R. MacLeod. 

**2. Apologies** J. Porter, E. Huthchinson, D. Whiteford, J. Warwick, I. Rodley, N. Martin, N. Warwick. 

**3. Minutes of Annual General Meeting** held on 7[th] , May 2020 were taken as read and agreed to be correct. 

## **4. Matters Arising** None. 

**5. Chairman’s Report** A full typed report is held with the Minutes. In summary Mr. Holland commented on the Covid 19 crises requiring meetings to be held by Zoom, the nearly completed hospital renovations, concerns about Brampton Charitable funds being held by the Cumbra Community Foundation, and the League’s improved balance due to Legacies. 

**6. Treasurer’s Report.** A typed copy is held with the Minutes. Donations increased by 95% to £25,818.17.  Excess Expenditure over Income was £230,076.08. 

   - Donated to the following funds:Defibrillators   £1,874.00 

   - Tablets for NHS foundation Trust  £10,000.00 Refurbishment of the hospital £250,000.00 

   - Brampton Area Action Group (BAAG)  £3000.00 

Income £35,627.25   Expenditure £230,076,08 Total Funds under management £334,931.49 

**7. Election of Committee** – According to the 3 year rule the following are required to stand down unless re-elected.  -  M. Holland was re-elected. Proposed C. Saunders, Seconded K. Percival. Please note that 3 members have resigned:- A. Winterburn, J. Stott, and A. Whitelock. 

**8. Co-opted Members.** Require to be re-elected. N. Warwick re-elected together with new members S. Quinn, and Ian Rodley who is a
