**Objects:** TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE RESEARCH INTO RENAL DISEASES AND FAILURE AND DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS THEREOF AND TO OFFER HELP AND ASSISTANCE TO RENAL PATIENTS AND THEIR RELATIVES. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 2).

**Activities:** We assist renal patients and their carers in the Sheffield and surrounding area by giving small/medium grants to those having specific financial needs.  Kidney research grants are given to Northern General Hospital, the main treatment centre for our members.
