## **St. Mary & St. Margarets C.E. Primary School Parent Teacher Association** ## **Report of the Trustees for year ending 21st September 2021** The Trustees of the St. Mary & St. Margarets C.E. Primary School Parent Teacher Association present their Annual Report and audited accounts for the year ended 21st September 2021 ## **Our Aims** To advance the education of the pupils at the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school not normally provided by the Local Education Authority. ## **Activities and objectives.** During the A.G.M. the school’s development projects were discussed for the academic year 2021-2022. The PTA voted on which project to support and new reading and reference books for the school library was chosen. The focus being to generate the finances for the school to purchase the agreed reading and reference books. The fundraising events would be, but not limited to, the following:- Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre, raffles, sponsored learning challenges and School Discos if the situation with the pandemic allows the PTA to hold the events on school premises. Again, we would hope approaching Charitable Trusts and Foundations will aid the project as it has over the last two years. ## **Review of activities and objective.** The Trustees and Members during the quarterly meetings planned and organised the forthcoming fundraising events. Fundraising events over the last year has proved difficult to non-existent given the corona virus pandemic and its restrictions. A raffle was able to go ahead and was very successful. Other than that, applying for grants and charitable donations has brought in the bulk of income this year. That said we have been able to fund 2 stages of the playground development. The outdoor stage and outdoor gym have been well received and used by the children and improve the quality of play at break and lunch times and has also added a new dimension to PE and drama classes. ## **Organisational Management..** Trustees were nominated and voted for at the A.G.M and are as below for this financial year. We have had a change of Chair with Krystina unfortunately leaving the PTA after a very successful period.
