**Objects:** THE INCOME TO BE USED IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 WHO ARE RESIDENT IN OR WHO ATTEND OR HAVE ATTENDED ANY SCHOOL IN THE AREA OF THE PARISHES OF CARTINGTON, HEPPLE, HESLEYHURST, ROTHBURY, SNITTER, THROPTON, TOSSON AND THOSE PARTS OF THE PARISHES OF BRINKBURN, HOLLINGHILL AND NETHERTON WITHIN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF ROTHBURY WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CL. 27 OF SCHEME).

**Activities:** Bursaries are available to students resident within the Parishes of Cartington, Hepple, Hesleyhurst, Rothbury, Snitter, Thropton and Tosson and the parts of the Parishes of Brinkburn, Hollinghill and Netherton that lie within the Ancient Parish of Rothbury. Applicants should be from 18 years to under the age of 25 (as of the 01.10 of the current year)  and pursuing a course of Higher Education.
