**Annual Report - Tuebrook Community Centre Group (Financial Year April 2021 to March 2022)** ## **Aims of the community centre:** To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Tuebrook area of Liverpool and the surrounding neighbourhoods. This will be without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time. This is with the objective of improving the condition of life for the local community. ## **Objectives for the coming year - (Financial Year April 2022 to March 2023)** Ensure the ongoing sustainability & viability of the Tuebrook Community Centre. Ensure usage of the various activities which take place in the centre are maintained and are enjoyable for all participants, including youth activities & sporting activities. Ensure our continued work with all our partners, including local Schools, other voluntary bodies etc. Ensure all volunteers are fully trained and adhere to agreed policies of the centre. Ensure essential maintenance of the building is a priority. Subject to funds, look to install new shower facilities and replenish various centre and sports equipment. Source and apply for suitable grants (national & local) to improve these facilities.
