**Objects:** (I) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (II) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (III) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE ARE OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** Protecting Lichfield's unique character. Promoting quality in development.To conserve that which is good in architecture, land and buildings including green urban spaces and change that which is not by reviewing and monitoring developments in the City and District, and liaising with local authorities.  A newsletter and programme of speaker meetings is arranged to promote interest in the City.
