**Objects:** TO PROVIDE A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF AMPLEFORTH WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** The village hall is used on several days of the week. The user groups include toddler group, occasional use by the local school, art classes and fitness classes, historical society, gardening club, church youth group and community library.The hall offers excellent facilities for meetings, lectures, receptions, exhibitions, coffee mornings, theatrical entertainments and dances.
