The total expenditure in the year was £21,643. Included in the Hall Maintenance figure of £12,024 were replacement double glazed units of £4,097, electrical work totalling £1,353.00 and external painting including scaffolding of £2,696. ## **Volunteers** A thank you to all the volunteers who help with the running of the hall. ## **Structure, Governance & Management** The Trustees are representatives from the Village organisations and people who are proposed and elected by those present at the Annual General Meetings. Signed on behalf of the Trustees ………………………………………….. 07 October 2025 ## **HICKLING VILLAGE HALL** ## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 APRIL 2025** I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 30 April 2025 which are set out on pages four and five. ## **Responsibilities and basis of report** As the charity’s trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act') I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner’s statement** I have completed my examination.
