**Activities:** Stimulate public interest in the area (provided visitor car park, heritage features, information boards). Encourage high standards of planning & architecture. Conserve, develop and protect features of historic, or natural interest (won Britain in Bloom Best Village, developed walks). Improve amenities ( newsletter to all houses), village activities, Open Gardens Day, Luddenden Heritage Day).
