A list of the approved projects, with a total award payment of £10,427.85 is given below, wlth a more detailed descrlption of the purpose and benefits achieved, i) Contribution to the Dr188 and Carleton Community Bursary Fund,. A contrlbutlon of £5,000 was made to the Bursary Fund to underpln the continued avallablllty of the bursary Scheme. The pled88 and rlng fence of funds was in addition to a £2,500 contribution from Nuclear Waste Services who have supported the scheme since its inceptlon. The arrangements for publlcisin8 and acknowledgin8 the source of funding from Copeland Community Fund have continued as descrlbed in previous reports, though wlth the addltlon of more expllclt condltlons for acknowled8ement of the sponsorshlp at events or, on publicity mat•rial. Addltional signs and banners for use at events are also made available to event organisers. 4. Good News Storles and Case Studles: Beneflt to members of the communi The Cornrnunity Events organised for the Bonflre and the Gala have all contrlbuted to the benefi't of the wlder community, as opportunitles for all ages across the communty to come tO8ether. Benefits to local amenities: Improved appearance of the Parlsh,. routlne cuttlnq of communal 8rass verges; the provislon of floral tubs and baskets. The Plantlng for Polllnators scheme run by Cumberland Councll wlll also be supplemented by a DCCF proj•rt to plant wlldflowers In th• vlllage verges. The Communlty Led Plan launched In 2016,1s regularly reviewed and malntalnéd as a 'llve' document and Is used to 8uld• th• future work planned and undertaken by the Parish Councll and its partners. The bookkeeping records have been well maintained and both timely and properly recorded to produce the Financial Statement. The records for the accounting transactions reconcile wlth the bank statements and the payments have been substantiated with appropriated vouchers or invoices and recorded in the minutes of the charity.
