CHAIRMANS REPORT PRESEN TED TO ANNUAL GENERAL MEEtING ON 17TH FEBRUARY 2026
I would like to start my Chairmans report with a thank you to all the committee members for
there continued help towards keeping the Community Hall a success. In these uncertain times
it is nice to see the village hall modeinising and going forward. With the help of grant moneywe
have been able to improve our facilities to gain more bookings and make it an enjoyable
experience booking the hall. With the new online booking facility being a huge improvement the
hall always seems to be is use with different clubs and parties using it on a regular basis.
I would like to thank Mrs Lorna Curtis for beingsecretary and the ongoing organizing and making
sure the hall runs smoothly.
I would like to thank Mr D Johnson for being treasurer. With the ongoing price increases we
certainly are luckyto have him in charge of our accounts.
Thank you to Sharon for doing the bookings and making sure the hall is used on a regular basis.
I would also like to thank the caretakers- Marion and Julie for there hard work and dedication
towards keeping the hall clean and tidy and ready for bookings.
Last and by no means least to myvice Chairman Mr G Olive. Thank you foryour continued
support and stepping in when I was busy.
The Hall is certainly going in the right direction with weekly, monthly and yearly bookings. The
huge success ofthe Wine Night, Sunday dinners and mediumship nights helping raise money
for the village hall.
