cONsT￿UTION & ORGANLSATION
The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland {'The Club,) is constituted under a trust deed dated 10 March 1975.
It R8 a registered ¢lwity. no. 504107.
The Club is also a registered member of Row Internationat Britain and Treland (RIBD md compli￿ with its
governance and regulations.
In addttion to the Trustee ACC￿ there is a NaTberth and IVhitl&nd Rotary aub General Account and this deals
WAth the day to day aspects of runDill8 a Rotary Club. The Club is manased by a Club Council. Members of
whith are appointed at theAnnual Gentt81 Meeting and meets monthly with mimrtes bein8 distributed to all
rnembers and reported to the Club each montb.
Tb¢ Club has updated its De•d of Thjst to tske acwunt of annual changes to Club Presidents and Vice
Presideots. Trustee5 will b¢ updated annually in line with it9 provisions. The previou8 Tn16tees fornially
relinquished their Toles and this document is therefore 518n￿ on bebalf of the new board of Tn￿ wbidj was

OBJEC[￿EsAND PUBUC BENEF
The Club h&8 unrestricted objects to apply the income rai8¢d for all purposes wbich are charitable under the
laws of England and Wales from tirne to tirn& Subjert to any designation or restridion which mi8ht be attached
to any gjtn receivel by Th¢ Club to be applied in implementation of its objecty it is the policy of the
Trusttts to apply both capital and the income stream of The Club for the relief of the pcrfjr and needy or to such
other charitable purpos¢ institutio4 soci¢ty orobject as the Ghatity sh￿1 in 8 duly CQDStitut&l m¢etin8 from time
to time di￿.
In setting our objectives and plannin8 our services. the Tmstees have 8tven CQT¢ful

The Club is oncv again pleased to report a yoBT of funthai8in8 allowing dlThtic￿S f(f Local. Nati(mal and
lllternational causes.
In additiory members have donated nwiy hours of their time to serve local events and Organisatio￿ and
88nize social events for the rnembership.

The Trustea8 and Council Members liais¢ to ensure all grants are nthde to de8erving causes and that the
objectives of the Club are adhered to.
RESERVES POUCY
It is the policy of the Club to maximise unrestiicted funds, vthich are the free reserves of the ¢harAty. to ensure
suffi¢ient funds are avail&ble to wver grants payable, support and administration Costs fw the fLYesee4ble
future.
There are no restricted reserves held at pr￿￿ A proportion of sutplus of furAds i8 always hdd as & matter of

Fundraising events included a very successful Charity Concert, a Duck RaK a Santa Rllll. ll Giro bike ride and
Funds We￿ also raisèd from the sale of Rotary branded scarves and the new Bee Hoodie sweatshirts
M￿b￿S have as&sted in both Na￿erth and Whttland C4rnivaJ4 the local food festiv￿ and marshalled at the
Local Civic week
We have continued to provide transport for the local Disabled sports and held annual Sound$ Fantastic to
promote local young musician's taleots.
Rotary Youth Competitions restarted after a pause caused by the pandernic and the Club sponsored young
people from our local schools in Youth Speaks and Young Musician., The Club was al80 pleased to sponsoT 2
children at the Rotary Y￿th Leadership Award event
During th¢ lattw h￿f of the y¢ar. Club way also heavily involv¢d in preparations f(r Na]beTth Outtloor Rock to
be held in Au8 24.
