The AIM of the Scout Group as a member of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international communities.

The METHOD of achieving this aim is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by Adult Leadership.

The PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY of the Group has been to follow the aim as stated above by using the Scout Association's progressive training scheme based on the Scout Promise and Law under the guidance of the Leaders in the Group.

The Group admits young people to all sections of the Group from 4 year to 14 years. The Group has a healthy number of children.

The aim of the Group Scout Leader with the help and support of all the Group's Leaders and Helpers and aided by the Scout Group Trustees, is to carry out the aims and policies outlined above and to provide Scouting and activities of the highest possible quality for the young people in the Scout Group in a totally safe environment.

_Future Development, Activities and Achievements_

The Group is currently looking for new leaders in all sections to support our current leaders and we have a huge number of young people in all sections. If you do wish to help in any way, please speak to the leaders. We are however very well placed to deliver the Scouting Programme and to provide quality Scouting to young people from ages 4 to 14, plus Young Leaders to the age of 18.

At our last Census the Group's figures showed 200 children plus 25 Young Leaders. We can be justly proud to belong to such a well-supported Scout group.

For the future, “Carry on the Same” - as the quality of Scouting is very high and why change a good thing. We are aiming to DBS clear more adults to help and to recruit more leaders and have them fully trained and we will continue to provide games, crafts, badges, adventurous activities, indoor and outdoor camps etc and whenever we see the opportunity will introduce new activities. We will continue to provide a very high-quality programme of exciting, fun, and adventurous activities for our young people.
