Treasurers Report Year End 15 October 2023
This has been a busy year. We have had a full year of activity.
The diary has been busy for the Village Hall with thanks to our booking secretary with hall
rentals topping £20K for the first time. Along with that of course comes all the expenses
and repairs and maintenance necessary to keep the hall looking good. All figures are
explained on the final year end summary. The tennis dub has not been operating due to
the courts being not fit to play. Cricket and bowls and operating several teams and
working slowly up Iheir leagues.
Our balan￿ has decreased this year by £4876 due to costs affiliated to the new annex.
This of course has stopped now due to spiralling costs but the ground work has provided
rnuch needed parking spaces for loading and unloading for the clubs especially.
Our totsl in the High Interest now £119530. The current account £9118 and cash in hand
£485 the accounts have been kindly audited by Elisabeth Sawle.
Our bankers are Barclays 8ank. We no longer have a bank in Chorley. The Post Office a
seervice for cash deposils and cheques, however to date 3 lots of eheques have been lost.
All our monies are held in this bank
