## **Treasurers Report Year End 15 October 2022** 

This has been a busier year than the last two years.  We have had a full year of activity. 

Once again to help with costs associated with reopening after  lockdown the Government awarded  grants to the organisations who also pay the Business Rates, although we have had discretionary relief and these have been nil owing for 2021 – 2022. The final grant awarded from Covid came in March by which time we were up and running was £2667. 

The diary has been busy with thanks to our booking secretary with hall rentals topping £20K for the first time.  Along with that of course comes all the expenses and repairs and maintenance necessary to keep the hall looking good. All figures are explained on the final year end summary. 

Our balance has increased this year by £14644.01 to include various grants. 

Our total in the High Interest now £122160.05. The current account £11411.94 and cash in hand £448.79.  the accounts have been kindly audited by Elisabeth Sawle. 

Our bankers are Barclays Bank in Chorley where all our monies are held.
