Having charitable status has**<br>**enabled us to be eligible for grant aid**<br>**and we have secured grants in 2024 –**<br>**2025 to refurbish our main hall floor to**<br>**maintain a good, safe surface for all**<br>**village hall activities, as well as for the**<br>**installation of Solar PV which contributes**<br>**to lowering our carbon footprint as an**<br>**organisation, reduces our reliance on**<br>**electricity from the national grid, enables**<br>**us to contribute our excess electricity to**<br>**the national grid as well as offering hall**<br>**users solar PV from direct use or battery**<br>**storage thus lowering their hire charges**<br>**at certain times of the year.**|
