We are well known and well respected in the local community. We have excellent knowledge of the local area and understand the needs of the local community. We always put young people and the local community at the heart of our charity.

Our trustees and volunteers are very approachable, highly skilled, motivated and committed

to supporting young people and members of the local community to make a difference. Main Activities:

O Community events such as Puffin Billy, Santas Grotto, Halloween, Glow Stick Parties O Parent and toddler group O Listening ear service O Drop in access to support with social isolation of residents O Providing facility for children’s birthday parties O Provision of Nursery and Play Group O Digital Access for community O Providing rooms to hire for community benefit. O Providing a facility for events including Dance, Karate, Budgie and Dog shows

Report to the trustees Charity Name Grindon Young Peoples Centre On accounts for the year March 2024 Charity no 502878 ended (if any) Set out on pages 1-2 (remember to include the page numbers of additional sheets) I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2024 . Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
