Para 1.17 | The objectives of the branch are to promote the work and objectives of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (219099), with particular reference to the area of the branch, in accordance with the policies of the Society. The Society’s objects (set out in section 4 of the RSPCA Act 1932) are to promote kindness and to prevent or suppress cruelty to animals. |

The branch operates a voucher scheme, which provides a financial contribution to the costs of veterinary treatment for domestic animals at several local veterinary practices. The branch, along with others in North Wales, contributes to the costs of running a mobile veterinary clinic that serves the North Wales region. The branch responds on a discretionary basis to individual requests for financial contributions to the costs of veterinary treatment for animals in distress. The branch provides financial support to a small number of individuals who foster stray or feral cats. |
