As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act
and in carrying out my examination. I have followed the appllcable Dlrections given by the Charity
Commission under section 145(5}(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that tn. any material respect:
accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which
attention should be dravm in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

The objectives of the branch are to
promote the work and objectives of the
Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty
to Animals (219099), with particular
reference to the area of the branch, in
accordance with the policies of the Society.
The Society's objects (set out in section 4
of the RSPCA Act 1932) are to promote
kindness and to prevent or suppress
cruelty to animals.

The branch operates a voucher scheme,
which provides a financial contribution to
th8 Costs of veterinary treatment for
domestic animals at several local
veterinary practices. The branch, along
with others in North Wales, contributes to
the costs of running a mobile veterinary
clinic that serves the North Wales region.
The branch responds on a discretionary
basis to individual requests for financial
contributions to the costs of veterinary
treatment for animals in distress. The
branch provides financial support to a small
number of individuals who foster stray or
feral cats.

The branch reported a deficit for the
period of £14,191. The branch held
reserves of £200,160 at the end of the
eriod.
The branch committee has agreed
previously that the reserves should be
at least twice the average expenditure
of the previous three years which
equates to £91 ,988.

contingency of a possible drop in
income, to enable the branch to
continue its work in support of animal
welfare under such circumstances.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty is governed by the Animals Act
1932 and by the rules of the Society.
The relationship between the Society
and its network of branches is regulated
by the Branch rules, the Society's rules
and the RSPCA Acts. Each branch is
required to manage its own affairs in
accordance with the Branch rules and is
bound by the Society's rules.
