**Objects:** (A) TO PROMOTE THE RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE CANAL AND TO PROMOTE ITS MAXIMUM UTILISATION BY THE PUBLIC. (B) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST AND APPRECIATION OF THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND STRUCTURE OF THE POCKLINGTON CANAL AND ITS ENVIRONS. (C) TO PURSUE THESE ENDS BY MEETINGS, STUDY GROUPS, WORKING PARTIES ETC. AND COLLABORATION WITH ANY BODIES PURSUING COMPLIMENTARY AIMS.

**Activities:** a) To promote the restoration and preservation of the canal for the benefit of the local community and the general public at large, and to encourage its use for navigation and the general public in their leisure time.b) To stimulate public interest, education and appreciation of the beauty, history, flora and fauna and structures of the Pocklington Canal and its environs
