To promote the advancement of general education in relation to all aspects of Art and Drama and the development of public appreciation of such art. To this end membership is open to all interested parties and we stage three productions per season Sept - June.

During the centenary season, the society successfully staged three major theatrical productions: The Vicar of Dibley: The Second Coming, Pride and Prejudice, and The 39 Steps. These productions provided cultural engagement for the local community and offered opportunities for both new and existing members to participate in acting and backstage roles.
