As owners of the bed of the lake, mooring licenses are issued to encourage quiet and peaceful recreation on Coniston Water. The Trust provided financial support to sixteen charities and voluntary bodies during 2024. A total of £43,796 was awarded with indivldual sums ranging from £260 to £10,000.
