Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main Trustees own and manage property at Lake Bank, Blea Brows and Haws achievements of the charity Bank, providing public access to the lake shore and spectacular views of during the year Coniston Water. As owners of the bed of the lake, mooring licenses are issued to encourage quiet and peaceful recreation on Coniston Water. The Trust provided financial support to twelve charities and voluntary bodies during 2021. A total of £24,835 was awarded with individual sums ranging from £325 to £5,000.

Brief statement of the charity’s Rathbones act on behalf of the Trustees to invest funds available after policy on reserves grant making activities and other charitable purposes. Land is acquired from time to time to maintain public access under local management for quiet and peaceful recreation within the five parishes of Coniston Water.
