members, we are stlll dellverlng 2 course hot meals every W8dnesd8y to around12
members who 8re hou8ebound.
Duringthe course of theyear. we lost 5% off the old membershlp malnly due to death or
deterforatlng health. We contlnue to recruit new members and have agaln placed 8
membershipform In the local parlsh magazlne attracting new members to the Glub.
We have contlnued wlth the malntenance 8nd refurblshmentwhere necessary
includin&
a) Costlngs in for new double wooden gates and Flre Doorl exlt
bl Intemet, WI-FI and webslte all now worklngwell and used by approximately 65%
of membership.

The Melville clubls 8tlll operatlng th18 edditlonal faclllty every Tuesday from 1:00 PM to

members are lonely and isolated. Day trlp8 are also planned to extend the role of GY
Acoach full of Melvllle club members and guests had a very enjoyable dayat Llandudno
In June and we have more daytrfp8 planned.
We celebrated our 50th annlversary with a Deputy Lieutenant of Shropshlre and other
VIP'S ,wlth a Speclal lunch and entertalnment,. we also celebrated our oldest member's
96th blrthdaywlth h18 famlly. A very enjoyable day and mllestone for the Melvllle club.
We have purchased a15-8eat mlnlbuswhlch ha8 been modlfled to caterfor dloabled
members. The bus Is well u8ed notjustto tr8n8POrt people to and from the lunch club
but8l80 byoldermembers of the commun￿YWh0 need transport to medlcal
appolntments or slmply want to go shopplng In Telford. If they are not member8 of the
lunch olub then a 500h rgductlon18 cliarged for membershlp, 80 £6 per annum, this18 8
