**Objects:** (A) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE TRAINING IN MODERN TECHNIQUES OF REHABILITATION SURGERY AND PARAMEDICAL CARE TO INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS OF THE COUNTRIES IN WHICH THE CHARITY OPERATES. (B) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF PERSONS RESIDENT OUTSIDE THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND BY THE PROVISION OF RESOURCES WHEREBY DULY LICENSED PROFESSIONAL PERSONS MAY PRODUCE SOPHISTICATED REHABILITATION AND TREATMENT BY MODERN SURGICAL TECHNIQUES AND PARAMEDICAL CARE.

**Activities:** Interplast UK engages in medical missions serving in developing countries and provides free reconstructive surgery for the underprivileged. This includes treating congenital abnormalities in children, eg cleft lip and/or palate, revision of scars following burns and restoring function in the case of hand injuries.  Teams total 5-15 members (surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses).

**Area of benefit:** OUTSIDE THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND.
