**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE CRAFT OF BEEKEEPING THROUGH:- (1) THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH IN CONNECTION WITH BEE DISEASES PROVIDED THAT ALL USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH SHALL BE DISEMIATED AND (2) OTHER WORK OF PRACTICAL VALUE IN BEEKEEPING.

**Activities:** Supports primarily British bee-related research projects of benefit to beekeeping and broader bee science. Some priority is given to work on bee diseases but not limited to honey bees. Supports and encourages young bee scientists through research studentships and travel bursaries.
