Activities
We award grants to young people who are leaving care - assisting with, for example, home furnishings and home essentials. Such items as may not be covered by a leaving care grant.
Objects: Relieving The Need Of Persons Between The Ages Of 14 And 20 (hereinafter Called The Beneficiaries) Within The Area Of Benefit (as Hereinafter Defined) Who Are Disadvantaged Or Deprived And Are Known To A Residential Social Worker Or A Field Social Worker To Be Or To Have Been In Care Under Any Children's And Young Persons Acts Or Other Like Act Or Acts Substituted Therfor In Force At The Time Of Making Such Application And Have Exhausted All Leaving Care Provision Due To Them And In Particular (but Without Any Way Limiting The Generality Of The Foregoing) By The Purchase Of Furnishings Or Utensils For Accommodation And The Purchase Of Tools Or Clothing In Order To Commence An Apprenticeship, Trade Or Profession Or As Otherwise Provided In Clause 5(2) Hereof.
