The trustees present their annual report and Ilnanclal slatemenls for the year ended 31 March 2024.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounling policies set out in note 1 lo the
financial stalements ond compty wllh the charity's goveming document, the Companies Act 2006 and 'A¢¢ountlng

The charity's main objectives are to advance the Christian Faith and Irain Christlan men and women as Christlan
leader5. evangelists and teachers, The UK tharity work8 wlth Haggai Inlernational in the USA whosa role Is to
identify and, through Inlenslve tralnlng sessions, develop exlsllng non-we8tern Christians in posilion8 of leadership
to be More effective In reachlng th8lr own people wtth the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It encourages Ihose Iralned to
pass on Ihelr tralnlng to at least 100 others within Iwo years, As local leaders face no visa issues, speak Ihe local
language and fully understand tha culture, they are far more effectlve and equally more cost effective Sn Ihelr own
countrie8 than out81de agencles can be. Thi5 approach ha8 proven to be an effective model of ml$8lon for the 21 st
Century and play8 an Importanl part in helping to end Gospel povety.

ftelds dependlng on wh8re their talents lie.
In Iho UK the charity, Haggai Advanced Leadership Training Limited, whlch operates under the name of Haggal
International (formerly Haggai Institute) Ss the means to inform the Chrlstlan community in th8 UK about the work of
developing Christian leaders. Through tts actlvities, it channels ltsnd8 to Haggal Inlernational in the USA for the solo
purpose of enabling non-western leaders to attènd th& training cour8es. Haggal Intornalional USA is, for c08t
réasons, looking lo close il'8 main training cenlre in Maui. In response to the global Covid-19 pandemic, whlch
resulted in restrictions on travel and meellng 109elher, an on-line verslon of the Haggai Leader Expeiience has been
developed (the Virtual Haggai Leader Expeiience) and has successfully enabl8d the training to ba delivered to
larger number of leaders. Alongside this, in-per8on trainlng resumed In 2023.
The maln acllvlty of the charity is to inform Christian8 about the actNlty of the ministry and to ralse funds Ihrough the
quarterfy dlstrlbulion of Ils informative magazine, Impact.

The trustee8 decided to continuè lo place Haggai Inlernational in th8 UK on a malntenance foollng for the
foreseeable future. Con8equ8ntly, the charity has not organlsed any public events during Ihe year. The UK trustees
met Iwlce during the yeai by video confeienclng faclllties and have continued a good working relationship and made
regular conlact with Halcyon which provldes buslness administration for the charity.
Tha OP8rating environment of thè charlty remalns testing, bul the Trustees are most graloful for the continuSng
inter88t and supporl of all donors. There are stlll close to 108 aclive donors and around 800 people and groups
reglstored on the database. Core donor8 recelve the"Impact' magazine foul tlmes a year.
Not withstanding the general envlronment and the consequent challenges, total donations amounted to £52,037 a
decrease of 9.8% compared to the previous year. Donation$ from Indivlduals and churches were al a lower level
compared lo last year whlle £21,722. which 15 included in the total donations received, was donated by various
trusls. However, year on year comparisons can be dislorted by the Impact that th8 timing of one-off donatlons has
on annual trend8. Costs have continued to be carefully controll80.
Throughoul the year Rev Stephen Gaukroger contlnued In an honorary cv4pacily in h18 role a8 Ambassador for
Haggal Inlernatlonal in the UK. representing Ihe organlsalion in variou6 way8 as well a6 offering to prOV￿e
recommendatlons to the Trustees, Hi5 obJecllve Is essentlally lo raise the profile of Haggal International and help
make Its mlnlsty better known.

All expenses incurred in the UK are covered by the International Board of Tru8tee8 of the mlnlslry and therefore the
trustees do not consider it necessary to have a 8lgniflcant resarve fund. All local expenses aro pald from the general
UK bank account and rè-imbursed monthly from the USA office in Atlanta.

relmbursed by the International Board of Trustees. Ihe Net Incornel Expenditure on th8 General Fund will effectively
break even. subjecl to adjustrnents In DebtOTS and Cr8dilorslAccruals. Free Reserves at the year end lotalled
£2.022 (2023: £3.3841. The total funds transferable lo Ihe intemational tralning fund In the year was £53,305 (2023:
£68,489) around 28.5% down on lasl year.
Plans for future porlods
The UK Truslees continue lo meet regularly either online or in person when possible to review progress and
consider the fuluie.

There are Inlernal systems and procedures In place whlch mlnimlse the rl8k of tha charity in the areas of finance
and Ihe authorisation of any expenditure.

The trustees conslder thal. as all expenses are covered and guaranteed by the USA office. and all other income Is
transfe￿ed dlreclly to the internalional training fund, there is no significant financlal rlsk to the charity.

International Institute for Advanced LeadershSp Tralnlng Inc for Ihi5 PUTPOSe.
