Constitution Objects
The settlement is registered with the Charity Conimission nuinber.. 327174 and is constituted under a deed of settlement dated 12
May 1986.
The principal objectives of the charity are to apply the income received in the payment of donations or subscriptions for public
beiiefit to such charitable institution or institutions for all or any of the charitable objects or purwse5 as the Trustees or a majority
iii point of nun)ber of the Trustees shall in their discretion from time to time think fit and detemiine.
Organisation
The trustees are as shown on the front of this report and in accordance with the goveming document. The trustees have the power
to nominate additional trustees.
Financial Review
The income of the Trust amounted to £32,079 compared to £35,806 for the previous year. The Trust did not receive a donation
from the George Cadbury Charitable Trust in the year to 5 April 2022 (2021 £5,000).
37 cheques for charitable donations were drawn totslling £49,900 which included the under-mentioned donations in exce&s of
£1,000.

Accounting Convention

The financial siaieinents have been prepared io give a'true and fair" view.
The trust meets the definition of a public benefit entity under FRS 102. Assets and liabilities are initially recognised at historical
cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevaiit accounting policy.
Basis of Accounting
The accounts are prepared on an aecruals basis. All income is reeognised once the Charity has entitlement to the income.
Regourees Expended
Grants and donations paid are charged against income in the year they are paid. All grants and donations are one-off payments.
Other resources expended are included in the SOFA on an accruals basis. Expenditure includes VAT which is not recoverable b),
the Charity.
Investments
Investments are shoiin at middle-market value. Realised gains and losseg on disposals and unrealised gains or losses when the
investments are re￿.alued are reflected in the SOFA.
Reserves
All funds are unrestricted.

I report to the Trnstees on my examination of the accounts of the Peter Cadbury Charitable Trust for the year ended 5 April 2022.

As the charity Trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirement5 of
tlie Chdrities Act 2011 ("the ALt"I.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my
examination I have followed all the applicable Directioi)s given by Charity Cominission under Section 145 {5)Ib) of the Act.
Independent Examiner's statement
I have con)pleted my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the
examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
