The strong demand for distanc¢ learning re8istration5 seen previously continued this y¢4r. This was
$uppl¢mented by strong cohorts of ELppr¢ntices and thos¢ laknng the IOSH M&nA8ing Saf¢ly course which was
relaul1ch￿ after a r¢vision to mc¢t IOSH r¢quirements.
Our long-standing collaboration with the University of Northampton (UON) continued this year. However, after
the y¢ar end we rc¢¢ived uotific8tion th&1 the University bad. after Consultation, ¢hos¢n to close all its lifl
engineering cours¢s (Level 4 C¢rtifical¢, 14NC, 14ND. and th¢ Msc in lift ¢ngine¢ring) to future Applicants, The
Univcrsity has a¢ceptcd enrol]ments for January 2025 start and it is understood that th¢se qualifications aTe now

The adequacy of the reserv¢s policy is reviewed annually.
Plans for future periods
The Tn￿¢ ¢nded the year in a strong position. After the y¢ar-cnd. the Tru5tEes learned of Ihe closing of th
University of NOrth￿￿pIon,S lift eTrgin¢¢ring courses. The Trustees considering this lllong with the future
n¢eds of learners throughout the industy in putting a strategy, planning and r¢50urc¢5 in place lo deliver futur¢
learning and qualifications to meet the necds of learners.
